Dell’s latest Latitude would never have seen the light of day in much more ancient and superstitious times – after all, who would want to purchase a laptop with the figure 13 in it? Fast forward to today and the Dell Latitude 13 raises eyebrows not because of its name, but due to it being “the world’s thinnest 13″ commercial client laptop” – targeting folks who want something as slim and light as a netbook albeit coming with a whole lot more processing muscle. The Latitude 13 is set to come with Bluetooth and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, optional WWAN wireless capability and an optional Blu-ray external drive. You will be able to place a pre-order in a few weeks’ time, so expect to see pricing and specifications being revealed sometime in the not too distant future.
