FSL’s latest Mobile Internet Device (MID) would be the F718 which is tipped to hit the Chinese market very soon, where this device runs off the Windows XP operating system with a 1.2GHZ VIA C7 processor handling all the hard work. Apart from that, you get a 7″ touchscreen display at 800 x 600 resolution alongside handwriting recognition support, 1GB RAM, a 32GB SSD, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel camera and a battery which lasts for up to 5 hours. It retails for approximately $586 after conversion which ain’t cheap at all. We probably won’t see this Stateside just in case you were wondering.
