Looking for a camera that has a long zoom, but don’t want to lug around one of those bigger cameras? Well, Fujifilm has just announced their new long-zoom category of compact cameras under the JZ line, which currently consists of the JZ300 and JZ500 cameras. One of the most notable features of it will obviously be the 10X optical zoom lens, which sports Fujifilm’s advanced CCD-shift image stabilization. Other features of the cameras include:
- 12-megapixel resolution (14-megapixels on the JZ500)
- 10x optical zoom
- 28mm wide-angle lens
- 720p video and image capture
- Face detection
- Tracking auto focus
- Face recognition (JZ500 only)
- Pet detection (JZ500 only)
