Motherboard manufacturer Gigabyte has come up with a brand new netbook which has a ring of Terminator 2 to it – dubbing the model the Gigabyte T1000. It is but a basic upgrade to its predecessor, the T1028 tablet series, where it will come equipped with a 10.1” 1,366 x 768 HD touchscreen display, a choice of Intel Atom N450/N470 processors, 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Windows 7 Starter Edition, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and a 1.3-megapixel camera. No idea on pricing, but expect it to roll out pretty soon.
