Chinese manufacturers want to jump aboard the tablet bandwagon as well, with the iiView Vpad now available. This tablet comes with 1GB RAM alongside a 160GB hard drive, retailing for $499 a pop. Underneath the hood, it comes with an Intel Atom N270 processor alongside Windows 7 Starter as the operating system of choice. It is not equipped with a HD accelerator, so you can more or less rule out video streaming on this puppy. For those with more dough, you can purchase an upgraded version equipped with 2GB RAM and a doubling of its hard drive capacity to 320GB. Perfect for folks with deep pockets and want to keep themselves occupied before the Apple iPad arrives.
