LG looks set to release its Cookie Plus touchscreen phone, following up on its predecessor which is a huge success. Also known as the LG GS500, this slick-looking 3G handset is equipped with full touchscreen capability, Facebook and Twitter support thanks to its peer management app known as LiveSquare, editable screenshot MMS (how many of you out there use MMS anyways?), widget support, a 3-megapixel camera with digital zoom, and an FM tuner. It ought to hit worldwide markets in a few months’ time, hitting France and Italy first before any other international release.
