Microsoft Project Natal prototype

While Microsoft has yet to release their Project Natal, a prototype of it was recently caught on photo, and we’re talking about the Natal’s lens system in particular here. It seems to be smaller than what was originally shown, considering the photo depicts the lens system being clipped onto what looks like a Gorillapod. Looking at it makes us feel as though this was a lost eye from one of the Sentinels in the Matrix due to its glowing red color, but hopefully Microsoft will do something about the design before it actually hits the market. Granted, this is a prototype and is far from finished, but a little bit of finesse never really hurt anybody.
