Motorola Devour to arrive on Verizon

Verizon Wireless will be offering the Motorola Devour Android-powered handset which ought to keep socialites happy thanks to its Happenings Widget that can push social networking updates directly onto the 3.1″ capacitive touchscreen display, while your universal inbox will keep you abreast with the latest happenings thanks to having a merged view of your SMSes, emails and social network messages. Apart from that, all data within as well as settings information will be backed up in the event of a loss or theft. This silver slider packs a spacious keyboard for easy and comfortable typing, and is equipped with Google Maps Navigation for free turn-by-turn directions as you get around town. Guess it will run on Android 1.6 (bummer) instead of 2.1, but at least it is better than having 1.5 on board, right?
