Motorola Devour To Sport The Same CPU As Palm Pixi

If you’ve been eyeing the Motorola Devour, we’ve got a little tidbit of information that might pique your interest. It seems that the Devour will be powered by a Qualcomm MSM7627 processor, which is the same processor used by the Palm Pixi and BlackBerry Curve 8530. The MSM7627 comes from the ARM11 family, and sports a 600MHz application processor, which isn’t all that shabby. In case you’ve forgotten, specifications of the Motorola Devour include:

  • 3.1-inch HVGA (480 x 320) capacitive display
  • 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7627 processor
  • 512MB flash ROM, 256MB RAM
  • 3-megapixel camera
