Sony has just launched its VAIO E series line of notebooks, and its 15.5-inch stands out from the pack by offering an extremely customizable design. Besides being offered in bright colors such as “Caribbean Green”, “Hibiscus Pink” and a couple of others, there are also keyboard skins offered that will allow you to create some really gaudy color combinations. There is only one configuration available at the time of writing, but you’ll be able to get the higher spec, 2.4GHz Core i5 and Blu-ray version from February 7th. You’re currently able to pre-order your unit, but shipping will (unfortunately) only begin in March. Currently, $800 will get you an E series VAIO with the following specs:

- Intel integrated graphics
- 4GB RAM
- DVD burner
- 500GB hard drive
