NEC has decided that their PaPeRo robot is endearing enough to be produced in miniatures (reminds us of the Android figurines that we talked about earlier this month), albeit not in quantities large enough to go on sale. After all, if one cannot get the real thing, why not the toy instead? It will serve as a constant reminder to those who badly want a PaPeRo at home to save under all circumstances, even if it means subsisting on nothing but bread and water for months on end.
