The Google Nexus One is touted to be a superphone, but the handset seemed to have run into a couple of speedbumps lately, with its spotty 3G connection that was supposed to have been improved. Guess not, as it looks as though the 3G coverage problem still persists despite the last major update, while Google’s support forums do point towards a niggling problem of a weaker 3G signal whenever you hold the handset by the bottom. Hopefully a software patch will be able to stem the growing tide of discontent, since a hardware issue might blow up in Google’s face instead.
