Looks like you might soon want to ditch that camcorder you’re carrying if the trend of digital cameras cramming in full HD video recording capability becomes the norm, as evident by Nikon’s latest P100. The P100 is a compact shooter that is ready to greet the new year, where this 10-megapixel shooter has a full 26x zoom range, Nikon’s latest image stabilization technology, Optical VR and a sensor-shift system which allows you to shoot steady photos even at an extreme zoom. Apart from that, it also does full HD video recording where you can view your recorded video over on a HDTV thanks to an HDMI-out port. Nikon’s P100 will retail for $369 as it hits the market Stateside next month.
