Word has it that Nokia and Qualcomm have teamed up to work on a new Symbian-powered smartphone that will run on a Snapdragon processor, making Nokia handsets speedier than ever with at least a 1GHz clock speed running within the chassis. It seems that this new smartphone will hit the North American market sometime in the middle of this year, and frankly we are quite excited to see what both Nokia and Qualcomm has in store for us. Will this be able to rejuvenate the Symbian platform that is lagging behind the iPhone OS and Android in terms of ease-of-use?
