Big brother always leads the way, right? If that’s the case, it is no surprise to see the Nokia N97 Mini also receive a firmware update just like the N97 earlier yesterday. Version 11.0.045 is available as a 160MB download, where the software supposedly frees up more RAM (around 6MB) after boot up, improvement in call quality, a better browsing experience (relative to the rest of the Nokia world of course), better audio playback and improved image and video stability. Strangely enough, the free version of Ovi Maps 3.3 isn’t included, but that is easily remedied by the easy add-on from ‘Software update’ on the device. Have you updated your N97 Mini yet?
