
Pegatron Technology is the latest name to be bandied about, as the company purportedly snagged themselves a potentially fat contract to undertake OEM production of the next-generation iPhone which is tipped to be released sometime later this year, putting them on par with Foxconn Electronics where the prestige of being an iPhone manufacturer is concerned. Pegatron has kept this hush hush, although it might have alluded to this agreement in its previous reports that pointed towards an expectation of increased handset shipments by a substantial amount later this year.
