Philips GoGear Connect is Android-powered

The Philips GoGear Connect is a new portable media player that runs on the Android operating system, now how about that! After all, if Apple wants to sow their wild oat of an iPhone OS all over the place, we don’t see why Google shouldn’t have a shot as well. Powered by the latest Android 2.1 version, the Philips GoGear Connect comes with a 3.2″ capacitive touchscreen display at 320 × 480 resolution, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, a microSD memory card slot, GPS navigation support, a built-in accelerometer and a choice of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. Guess the only thing it is missing is a phone inside to make this one hot device. Image courtesy of Giiks.com [Translated Page]
