If you happen to pick up a Ricoh CX2 in the past half year, then you might want to give this post a miss since it could inadvertently raise your blood pressure. The CX3, a logical progression when it comes to succeeding the CX2, is now available, with the main difference being a 10-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor. Not exactly a major upgrade when you think of it since the CX2 itself uses a 9.29-megapixel CMOS sensor instead. No idea on pricing Stateside, but folks living Down Under can purchase one for AU$499 sometime this month. Features include HD video recording at 1,280 x 720 resolution and a 10.7x 28-300mm optical wide-angle zoom lens.
