With everyone jumping aboard the eco-friendly bandwagon these days, we’re not surprised to see the Sustainable City Lights concept make the grade. Apparently, each lamp post will harness solar and wind energy for itself, and will beam LEDs only in the presence of people, otherwise it will conserve energy by emitting a soft glow. Depending on what its surrounding environment is like, the Sustainable City Lights mimic the opening and closing of a flower bud whenever it is hard at work harvesting energy. All surplus (if any) will be returned to the main grid for use elsewhere.
