Toshiba has come up with a pair of headphones which hold a brain-wave sensor within, being specially designed for consumer use. You get an integrated Bluetooth chipset within, allowing the headphones to hook up to a Bluetooth-enabled computer thanks to the included dongle. It will also come with an accompanying software known as “Brain-wave Visualizer”, where it is capable of visualizing measured data to show off a diagram of brain waves and meters of a brain-wave level, concentration level and meditation level. This enables one to record the wearer’s brain waves in real time. Not too practical for the ordinary iPod user, but it comes in handy in the healthcare department.
