Word of a native Twitter client for BlackBerry users has been thrown around for a while, but now it seems that it’s one step closer to becoming a reality. RIM has announced Twitter for BlackBerry in beta form, and it’s currently available for download for invited users. If you’re lucky enough to have scored an invite, you can pop over to blackberry.com/twitterdownload to get it. The beta is available in 6 different languages (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese), and it’s said that the beta will run for around a month, giving us hope that the full version might be released shortly after that. If you’re lazy to keep an eye out for developments on this, you could always sign up to receive updates at blackberry.com/twitter.
