YouTube ends IE6 support soon

Google’s YouTube vidoe service is touted to stop Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) support come this March 13th, although they did not state it directly, they did mention that “users will still be able to watch YouTube on IE6. As the Web evolves, our goal is to keep up by making YouTube a richer, faster, and more dynamic experience for everyone.” Apparently, “old browsers” would mean any release before IE7, Firefox 3.0, Chrome 4.0, or Safari 3.0. Guess no tears will be lost on this news for Microsoft though.
