Asus DR900 ebook reader

Asus does not want to be left behind in the ebook reader race, and has come up with the DR900 that boasts a 9″ display at 1,024 x 768 resolution. This touchscreen e-paper display is also accompanied by an overall design that tends to keep the hardware buttons to a minimum level, featuring integrated Wi-Fi connectivity, optional 3G as well as enough juice per full charge to support up to 10,000 page turns. We’re assuming that figure doesn’t take into account having its Wi-Fi connection turned on, of course. Expect to further augment the 4GB of internal memory with an SD memory card. No idea on pricing, but we look forward to this release as things heat up in the ebook reader segment.
