Asus Eee PC 1001PX turned official

Asus’ latest Eee PC to join their stable would be the Eee PC 1001PX which has just been officially released, although you probably won’t be able to tell the difference as to what kind of model this is at first glance since it looks like any other 10″ Eee PC out there. What makes it different is its striking matte display screen when you open it up, allowing you to use the Eee PC 1001PX outdoors or under bright light conditions without batting an eyelid. Apart from that, most of the other specifications are pretty generic including a 10.1″ LED backlit wide antiglare display powered by an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a built-in memory card reader, a webcam, Wi-Fi connectivity and Windows 7 Starter as the operating system of choice.
