Augmented Reality Makes It Into The Fashion Scene

We’ve started to see Augmented Reality (AR) pop up in all sorts of places nowadays, such as mobile phones, gaming, scavenger hunts and even buildings. So what’s the next bold step for AR? It seems like it’ll be the fashion scene. Designers over in London have come up with 3D animation “softwear”, which ties in AR with their fashion designs. With that in place, models used a symbol on the clothing to activate the animation on the display, after which the model (in the display) was fitted with some rather bizarre headgear and surrounded by dancing figures. What should we expect next, from Augmented Reality technology?
