Now here’s confirmation on news that we posted about last week – Verizon has thrown in push-to-talk support to the BlackBerry Tour amongst other features. Apart from that, this new update will also offer folks who use regular BlackBerry Internet Service as well as the Enterprise Serve the option of chatting instantly with up to 50 other PTT phone users. Instead of iDEN, the BlackBerry relies on 3G connectivity to make the link. This capability is made available to those who own qualifying voice and data plans at the momet, with plans to expand it further down the road.
