There seems to be an acute shortage of Broadcom Crystal HD decoder cards (BCM70012) on eBay, and as logic dictates, a high demand with low supply would drive prices up. In this case, it doesn’t seem to make much sense since the price has hovered near the $100 mark, which is amazing to say the least considering a standard price point would be around $25 per card. What do you think of such opportunists – are they the next Warren Buffet, or are they just plain heartless?
