Cisco is looking to pair its wireless technology expertise alongside Flip Video’s simplicity-in-design approach, resulting in Valet, a new product line which aims to make home wireless simple and accessible for everyone. Valet hopes to transform how families use the Internet in their homes, lettign them enjoy the freedom of wireless access without having to go through the traditional frustration and complexity of setting up a home network. Basically home wireless for dummies, all you need to do is insert the included Easy Setup Key into a USB port on your machine (Windows or Mac OS, it doesn’t matter), where the Cisco Connect software will then take over from there, taking all of 3 steps to complete. When setup, you can manage your home wireless experience by adding new devices, setting parental controls and offering Internet access for guests on a separate guest network while customizing personal security settings including passwords. Depending on your home size as well as number of users, the Valet will come in three varieties – Valet, Valet Plus and Valet Connector that retails for $99.99, $149.99 and $79.99, respectively.
