DoubleTwist Brings The Android Market To Your Macs Desktop

DoubleTwist’s latest update should be quite useful to Mac users, as it adds to its media syncing functionality for non-Apple devices like Google’s Android. The best feature of the latest version is that you’re able to browse the Android App Store directly from your Mac’s desktop; similar to browsing Apple’s App Store on iTunes, and if you decide that you want something, you can just snap a photo of the QR code on the screen, and it’ll be downloaded directly to your Android phone. Compared to having to search for that specific program on your phone’s tiny screen, this is certainly going to be a lot more pleasant. DoubleTwist is currently working on an over-the-air (OTA) download method, which would allow you to send the apps to your phone without having to go through the hassle of scanning the QR code. That being said, it’s still a very useful application to have.
