Eee PC 1001PQ for the little ones

Asus seems bent on capturing just about every market when it comes to their Eee PC range, with the Eee PC 1001PQ targeting your little ones with the latest Intel Atom N450 processor running within. Expec to see the Eee PC 1001PQ launched at CeBIT tomorrow, where you can choose between Yellow and Black as well as Black and Purple color combinations. What makes this stand out for kids would be its colored palm rest, but apart from that expect it to work like just any other netbook including its rather staple specifications such as a 10.1″ LCD LED Backlit WSVGA resolution (1,024 x 600), 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, an Intel NM10 Express chipset, a VGA webcam, a memory card slot, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Windows 7 as the operating system of choice.
