Emporia targets elderly with new handsets

Emporia of Austria has released new cellphones which target the elderly, making sure that they are simple to use and will not cause any unnecessary confusion. This has resulted in large buttons as well as a must-have – we’re talking about big text displays here alongside hearing aid compatibility. The Emporia Solid is more rugged than normal, sporting the ability to shrug off short drops as well as being water- and dirt-resistant. As for the Emporia Elegance, this one is a wee bit more classy with a similar 1.8″ OLED display, hearing aid compatibility mode, SMS support, a car charger and belt clip. Expect the Emporia Solid and Elegance to retail for €199 and €129, respectively.
