We brought your attention to the new offerings from Eye-Fi during CES, and now the products have started to ship. The $50 Eye-Fi Connect X2 will offer JPEG uploads to sharing sites such as Flickr, Facebook and YouTube, as well as 4GB of storage; the $100 Explore X2 offers 8GB of storage space, and will include geotagging, uploading to the user’s own computer over a Wi-Fi network, as well as a year of AT&T’s Wi-Fi service; Finally the $150 Eye-Fi Pro x2 also offers 8GB of storage, but is able to churn out JPEG and RAW uploads, as well as supporting the creation of a ad-hoc Wi-Fi connection to the computer.
