
The folks at the FCC has given their nod of approval for the Asus Eee PC 1005PEG which in reality, is the regular 1005PE with 3.5G/3.75G or WiMAX connectivity. Basically, this means there is a very high probability of this netbook to make a splash in the market. Specifications-wise, the 1005PEG is pretty much the same as that of your everyday netbook including a 10.1″ display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity as well as the Windows 7 operating system.
