GM Unveils EN-V Concept Vehicle

Who said cars have to be long? GM’s latest EN-V (Electric Networked Vehicle) concept looks a bit like a giant Segway that’s enclosed. Three different designs were unveiled, and they were Jiao (Price), Miao (Magic), and Xiao (Laugh). The EN-V apparently uses twin electric motors along with dynamic stabilization technology to allow the EN-V to turn easily, and even operate autonomously, thanks to integrated GPS. You can charge its lithium-ion batteries from your standard wall outlet, and you should be able to travel about 40 kilometers on a single charge. The EN-V even sports a built-in wireless transmitter/receiver of sorts, which allows your friends to track your travels if you allow them too, though that might not be ideal if you’re doing something hush hush. If this were to become a reality, would you drive it?

Press release.
