Statistics, and damned statistics! Well, these figures don’t lie when it comes to the number of Google Nexus One handsets being sold throughout the first 74 days of its life in the market. After all, when you compared the Motorola DROID and iPhone, their respective first 74 days resulted in 1.05 million units as well as around 1 million units, while the Nexus one touched slightly more than 10% of those figures at a mere 135,000 Nexus Ones moving into the pockets of consumers. Hopefully with the impending roll out on Verizon Wireless and Vodafone in the coming months, the figures might just bump up.
