HTC will defend itself against Apple lawsuit

It is a no brainer that HTC will take steps to defend itself fully against Apple’s actions, and in their own words, “HTC strongly advocates intellectual property protection and will continue to respect other innovators and their technologies as we have always done, but we will continue to embrace competition through our own innovation as a healthy way for consumers to get the best mobile experience possible.” This coming from the company that brought us the first 3.5″ color touchscreen smartphone in the world in the form of the O2 XDA, alongside other list of accolades which include the first Windows PDA, first Windows phone, first 3G CDMA EVDO smartphone, first gesture-based smartphone (take that, Apple!), first Google Android smartphone and first 4G WIMAX smartphone. This court battle looks set to be interesting.
