
It’s still unconfirmed, but word is going around that Intel is struggling to meet the demand for its new family of Core mobile processors. The chips, which are expected to be used in the upcoming updates for Apple’s MacBook and MacBook Pro lines are in high demand, apparently Acer has made a rather large order for Intel’s latest Core i3/i5/i7 chips, and coupled with Apple’s chip requirements, this is going to give second-tier and smaller notebook makers a hard time. Hopefully Intel manages to get its supply issues sorted out soon, as we certainly want to see new notebooks rocking the latest processors, don’t we?
