Mac OS X zero day full of flaws

Apple has long trumpeted its OS to be way safer compared to the Windows platform, but an insecurity expert recently counted more zero day security flaws than one has fingers – in fact, 20 of them in total. Security researcher Charlie Miller, claimed that the attack surface of OS-X is so wide you can land a proverbial 747 on it – sideways! These bugs are located in the open source components, while vulnerabilities also remain in the closed source third-party and Apple components. Regardless of either segment, all of them are able to compromise the Mac OS X operating system remotely. It would be interesting to see how Apple responds to this.
