Mac owners can finally “enjoy” the wonders of Valve’s Steam gaming service after having PC gamers using Steam for a few years already. From April onwards, Apple-based gamers will be able to enjoy some games such as Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and the Half-Life series via Steamworks for the Mac. Among all the Steamworks APIs, a new feature has been introduced which is known as Steam Play, enabling customers who purchase the product for the Mac or Windows to play on the other platform without forking out a single cent more. All Valve Steam games will be released at the same time as that on the PC and Xbox 360.
