Magellan RoadMate 3065 passes FCC test

The Magellan RoadMate 3065 should be making its way to the US market in the very near future simply because it has already passed the FCC’s rigorous tests with flying colors. Interestingly enough, the Magellan RoadMate 3065 does feature the ability to “wake up” at a preset time in order to download traffic information automatically, in order for it to provide better navigation decisions before you start on your road trip instead of stumbling through forks and turns. It does sound that this will be a premium feature though, so we are not sure how much it will cost and how the data download will be achieved – will it be Wi-Fi or via 3G?
