Microsoft has started to talk about Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1), as well as Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Despite Microsoft not officially announcing a beta or date of release for the service pack, word is going around that SP1 might be arriving as early as this month. Windows Server 2008 R2 will be getting some rather cool features for Microsoft’s desktop virtualization platform, namely Microsoft Dynamic Memory and Microsoft RemoteFX. Windows 7 will be getting the usual bunch of hotfixes, as well as an updated Remote Desktop client that takes advantage of the newly-introduced RemoteFX on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
