While we know that Nintendo will definitely roll out a spiritual sequel to the Nintendo DS platform, we still don’t know what the official name would be, so Nintendo DS 2 would have to do for the moment. Needless to say, an updated version ought to feature larger displays compared to the current DSi and DS XL, where you can use these displays as separate ones or one huge one. Of course, the resolution count would be improved as well, alongside the introduction of an accelerometer to help it keep up with the iPhone in terms of portable gaming. Perhaps E3 this year would be the platform where the DS 2 would be announced?
