Folks who are over in Hong Kong should be happy to hear that Motorola has begun to roll out the much-anticipated Android 2.1 update for the Motorola Milestone (or Droid, as it’s called in the U.S.). If you’re not in Hong Kong, it’s best to wait until your carrier officially releases the update, no matter how enticing it might seem to you, especially if the update has been delayed. After all, you wouldn’t want to accidentally brick your phone, right?
