
Those who own a Mac that lacks a built-in ambient light sensor (this doesn’t apply to folks who recently picked up an iMac or new MacBook, so do take note there) will be pleased to know that Nuovation’s new Iris and Reflex combo is now available, comprising of the Iris USB light sensor that is diminutive enough, it will not obstruct any nearby ports, while playing nice with their Reflex software which will dial down your display’s brightness in accordance to the ambient light levels around you. Heck, some of the advanced settings are said to be ahead of Apple’s own offering. Expect to pick up this combo sometime this summer in the region of $20 to $30. [Press Release]
