NVIDIA Optimus hands-on demo, literally

In this video an Matt Wuebling (the product manager for NVIDIA’s Ion) demonstrate that when not in use, the GPU is completely turned off using the Optimus Technology. In fact, it is so turned off, that it can be removed from a live system – and put back. To know more about NVIDIA’s Optimus, head to our previous post.
