As with any other self-respecting OtterBox, both Impact and Commuter series cases will offer protection against shocks and drops which would normally be a death blow to your Palm Pixi. The Impact series case comes with a silicone skin that offers all round protection while providing easy access to all buttons and phone features. As for the Commuter series, it has 3 layers of protection which will definitely add to the bulk (and peace of mind).
