Palm Pre overclocked

Desktop computers aren’t the only devices that should get all the interest from overclocking, not when you have something like this stock Palm Pre which touches 800MHz from 500MHz, running on version 1.3.5.1 of the webOS software. Needless to say, the additional performance boost came with a price – the phone was pretty warm for much of the time it was turned on, and battery life is less than stellar to say the least. We wouldn’t recommend putting this in your pants pocket unless you don’t mind giving your family jewels a nice, toasty and potentially flammable environment.
