CTIA is the venue where Pantech announced their latest smartphone known as the Pursuit. The handset might be on display there for journalists to have a peek at, but strangely enough there is a no-photo policy enforced. Initial impressions could prove to be favorable, since the Pursuit comes with a 2.8″ touchscreen display to keep up with the times, using a never-seen-before proprietary user interface. This slider handset comes with a QWERTY keyboard, a 2-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, a microSD memory card slot, 3G, aGPS and Shake feature which allows you to access three different pre-set shortcuts with different shakes. The Pantech Pursuit should hit AT&T stores in Q2 later this year for a yet undisclosed price, coming in blue and green models.
