
If you had any doubts as to whether augmented reality (AR) was here to stay, the news that Qualcomm has opened a R&D center in Vienna, which will be responsible for the design and development of AR and related technologies, should put your mind at ease. This new center will work in conjunction with Qualcomm’s existing center in San Diego, taking advantage of the intellectual property acquired from Imagination Computer Services.
