Samsung has officially announced its LTE-supporting CDMA/4G cell phone for MetroPCS, the SCH-r900. The Korean cell phone giant is expecting the SCH-r900 to be the first multimode CDMA/4G cell phone to launch in the U.S, as soon as MetroPCS begins to deploy its 4G LTE network in the 2nd half of 2010. Pictures or technical specifications of the SCH-r900 aren’t available just yet, so it looks like we’ll have to be a bit patient and wait for a leak or official picture.
